From 1Q90 onwards, prices refer to quarterly averages. From 1Q86 to 4Q89, prices refer to the second month of the quarter. Prior to 4Q85, prices refer to the end of the quarter. See individual products for details. GST (Goods and Services Tax): Sales of all fuels and electricity (and other goods and services in the economy) are subject to the GST. Commercial and industrial consumers generally obtain refunds on any GST paid, so GST-exclusive prices are shown for industry, electricity generation and automotive diesel for commercial purposes.
