摘要

The paper presents results of a stray current assessment study performed for MRT Purple Line in Bangkok, Thailand. Factors of interest in the study are a rail-to-earth conductance per unit length and rail potential. A grounding system model is developed in MATLAB/Simulink using electrical resistances of track composite materials. From the simulation results, both conductance per unit length and rail potential comply with the European Standard EN 50122 for all viaduct structures and track configurations even in absence of stray current collector system.
