The winds of change are blowing.Those attending fall meetings of base oils conferences were met with news of changes and potential changes in at least four major areas.The National Petrochemical & Refiners Association(NPRA)International Lubricants and Waxes conference began on October 31 with the first base oils posted price hike in over four months.Sunoco announced plans to lift its base oils Group I prices for solvent neutral(SN)500 and Brightstock by 15 cents per gallon effective November 1.
