In 2017,Laakirchen Papier AG invested around EUR 100 million in the conversion of its paper machine PM10 to produce up to 420,000 tons of recycled paper-based light-weight containerboard.The project was one step in the planned strategy of the Heinzel Group to become one of the top players for packaging paper in the European market.The business of Laakirchen Papier is now based on two pillars: SC paper and containerboard.The conversion project of PM 10 will further secure the future of the production site Laakirchen.
