Identification of success factors for the reintroduction of the critically endangered species Eryngium viviparum J. Gay (Apiaceae)

Eryngium viviparum is a very rare species with a fragmented distribution between the NW of the Iberian peninsula and Brittany. In France, the species is only maintained in one locality, thanks to management efforts. The plant is currently included in a National Action Plan that encompasses reintroductions into restored and ecologically favorable historic locations.
