摘要

In order to overcome the disadvantage such as uneven dispersion of some particles during recycling of conventional phase change materials, the copper foam was used as thermal conductivity enhanced additives in paraffin for thermal management of LiFePO_4 battery. The battery thermal management system was designed and the experimental results showed that the temperature rise of the single cell and the battery module can be controlled lower than 50℃. The temperature difference from cell to cell in the battery module can be kept below 3℃. The copper foam/paraffin was confirmed as an effective method for power battery thermal management.
