Twin Column Materials Testers with Flexible Design and Comprehensive Software for Multiple Applications

Ametek Lloyd Instruments has introduced a series of universal test machines that combine flexibility, high performance and comprehensive analysis software to handle a wide range of present and future applications. The new LD Series of twin column materials testers includes five models with capacities ranging from 5 to 100kN. All are designed for routine, automated, and complex multi-stage quality control testing. All LD Series testing machines feature an extra-large working area of 452 mm (17.8 in), crosshead travel up to 1070 mm (42 in) extendable to 1669 mm (65.7 in), and a wide speed range. They can be mounted above a floor standing compression cage for large sample or complete assembly testing. A simple change of grips enables the modular machines to meet any testing needs regardless of industry, material or test type.
