摘要

The principle and algorithm of TOPSIS mode were introduced in this paper, and it was modified by using the method of Entropy Weight, which employed entropy values to calculate weight of each evaluation index according indexes data. So the modified method, named as EW-TOPSIS, made the evaluation results more objective and reasonable. The EW-TOPSIS was used to evaluate water resources utilization status of the Pingba area in Hanzhong basin. The study results showed that the EW-TOPSIS model can estimate the water resources utilization status only according to indexes data. In addition, the EW-TOPSIS method can be used for some evaluation issues in other fields such as environmental quality assessment and hazard assessment.
