摘要

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) emerges as one of the technologies for identification of any object and leads all methods in auto ID umbrella. Meat animal and cattle farms play an important role in human food culture. ZigBee is a low power high potential wireless networking device. It is widely used for industrial data acquisition application. In this paper, we propose a novel method to tackle animal tracking issues in the farms using RFID enabled method explaining concepts such as Reader orientation for wide coverage, antenna selection, selection of tags, position of tag placement in the animal, sensor networking, stake management, location tracking and automated alerting.
