摘要

Based on studying the performance of LFM signal and the orthogonal code division technology, OPCDM-LFM (orthogonal phase code division multi linear frequency modulation) waveforms which are used for formation-flying satellite SAR system are proposed in this paper. Through modulating the phase of LFM signal with orthogonal phase coding, the range resolution of the compound signal is improved compared with LFM signal. We modulate the same LFM signal using different phase coded signals, and generate the orthogonal waveforms. Due to the same frequency resource used for the orthogonal waveforms, the frequency resource limitation problem in the formation-flying satellite SAR is resolved. Finally, some simulations are performed and the results show that the proposed waveforms achieve good performance in orthogonal performance, range resolution and the utilization efficiency of frequency resource.
