Development and Application Oil Pressure for On-Line Monitoring Systems of a 161 kV Oil-Filled Cable

Since the oil-filed (OF) cable with functions of oil pressure indication and warning system, it can rapidly issuing alert when there is mining damage to the cable or leaking oil. Moreover, it helps to grasp the oil pressure status of OF cable and to establish computerized digital management model to improve the incompletion of oil pressure monitoring system. This study adopts the concept of the establishment of power grid condition monitoring system to develop a real-time online system with monitoring function. This system could assist maintenance personnel to obtain the dynamic information of cable's pressure immediately. Thus it helps to reduce the repair time o f oil power cable events and to increase the safety and quality of power supply.
