An EKOS compact electronic spectrometer is described, which has been designed for simultaneous (below, this means the simultaneous accumulation of electron counts with various parameters) registration of solar wind electrons in a relatively wide energy range. Computer simulation of the electronic optics scheme of the instrument made it possible to obtain the following analytical characteristics: a range of simultaneously recorded energies from E-0 up to 4.7E(0) with a resolution of similar to 25%, a simultaneous field of view along the azimuthal angle of similar to 50 degrees, and a field of view along the polar angle of similar to 15 degrees (there is no resolution in this direction). A prototype of electronic optics unit has been manufactured, whose dimensions, together with the electronics board and the detector assembly, are 72 x 95 x 57 mm, which makes it possible to install the instrument on CubeSat satellites. Laboratory tests of the coordinate-sensitive detector of the instrument were carried out, which demonstrated the possibility of resolving similar to ten lines in each of two directions, which is sufficient to ensure the functioning of the electronic optics unit.
