OECD formally accepts Colombia as 37th member country

After five years of consideration, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development on May 25 agreed to invite Colombia into the group. Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos and OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurria signed an accession agreement on May 30 during the OECD ministerial in Paris.
