Agriculture and Fertiliser industry in India(A Review)

摘要

THE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION and fertiliser use are inextricably linked and achievements in agriculture production to a great extent depend on fertiliser use.Fertiliser industry played an important role in providing the needed plant nutrients to Indian agriculture during the Green Revolution since mid-60s.Increased use of fertilisers along with the use of high yielding variety seeds and irrigation helped India migrate from a situation of hand to mouth in the 60s to near self-sufficiency in foodgrains production.
