Bokaro Steel City Local Centre of the Institution in association with SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant organized a two-day All India Seminar on the topic 'Water Conservation through 3 R's - Reduce, Recycle & Reuse' under the aegis of Environmental Engineering Division, IEI, during December 2-3, 2017 at Bokaro Steel City. Mr A C Goyal, Chairman of the Centre, welcomed the guests, dignitaries and participants. The Chief Guest, Mr P K Singh, Chief Executive Officer, SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant, in his inaugural address, stated that water is the most important among all natural resources and available in limited quantity. He further mentioned that agriculture and industries use most of the water and as such, industries are to play a vital role in conservation of water for which awareness drive is equally important. Mr N C Pandey, Asset Manager, ONGC, graced the occasion as Guest-of-Honour. Mr Pandey, in his address stressed on effective water management to develop all energy resources.
