PROBLEM STATEMENT: The RPA/DCGS community represents a formidable high demand, global impact weapons system that has been engaged in 24/7/365 operations for more than a decade. With a 2300% increase in workload over 14 years, they have been operating at near 100% capacity for over a decade. RPA/DCGS shift workers have challenges accessing proper medical care, nutrition, and exercise. Medical evidence supports that shift workers have increased rates of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, depression, cancer and other psychological sequelae. Furthermore RPA/DCGS operators operate a weapons system that less than ergonomically optimal resulting is a dimiy lit, cold environment with suboptimal instrument placement.
