UK glass manufacturer and filler,Encirc,has released details about what it describes as what will be the”world's first”industry 4.0-ready production line at its Elton site in Cheshire.Responding to what the company's managing director has previously called”enormous pressure”on the country's glass sector to supply more containers as demand keeps growing,the installation is due to be up and running within the next 12 months.The line in question will be a”quad gob”line,meaning that output speeds will be among the highest,the company said.
