SLNG considers adding fifth storage tank

The Singapore LNG (SLNG) terminal on Jurong island is considering building a fifth LNG storage tank and will shortly issue a non-binding proposal to gauge market interest, especially for long-term leases. "As part of our continuing efforts to facilitate the development of Singapore as an LNG hub, SLNG will be issuing a non-binding expression of interest [EOI] later this year or early next year for a potential fifth LNG storage tank," SLNG says. The response from the EOI will determine whether the fifth tank goes ahead.
