McDermott bags Vietnam deal

McDermott International has landed 'a sizeable transportation and installation subcontract' from PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) for the Sao Vang and Dai Nguyet gas and condensate field development projects in the Nam Con Son Basin offshore Vietnam. The work scope will cover transportation and installation services for the central processing platform jacket, topside float-over, wellhead platform, flexible pipelines, subsea power cables and auxiliary services. Installation will be undertaken at water depths of between 110m (361ft) and 130m (427ft).
