Subsea 7 seals Azeri work

Subsea 7 has been awarded a "substantial contract" by BP Exploration to provide subsea inspection, repair and maintenance services on both the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz fields in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea. The work scope for the five-year deal includes the provision of a Life of Field support vessel complete with work class and observation class ROVs, capable of performing inspection, survey, intervention, light subsea construction, surface diving and emergency response services. The Life of field support vessel will be supported by a Baku-based onshore project management and engineering team.
