Jadestone Energy has kicked off a riserless light well intervention (RLWI) campaign at the Montara development area offshore Australia. Last year, Sapura Energy was handed a contract to undertake RWLI services for three wells in the Montara Area. The project will be undertaken by the DP2 vessel Sapura Constructor and in-house light well intervention systems, including intervention compensation systems and subsea intervention devices. Jadestone said that the Sapura Constructor light well intervention vessel was moved to the field on 30 May 2019 and after conducting prework safety checks, is now operating on the Skua-11 well.
