Primorsk diesel exports down slightly

Diesel exports through the Russian Baltic port of Primorsk are scheduled down by 1.1pc on the month in October on a daily average basis. Planned pipeline deliveries of 10ppm sulphur diesel to Primorsk in September- October are below the 1.21mn t/month average in January-August as a result of refinery maintenance, pipeline operator Transneft says. Market participants link the fall to conversion work on a crude pipeline to the port to handle diesel, but Transneft says there is no connection. The 10mn t/yr expansion of the 15mn t/yr Sever pipeline is scheduled for completion in early 2018.
