Gazpromneft suspends Prirazlomnoye exports

Seaborne crude exports from Russia outside the Transneft pipeline system dropped by 20pc on the month to 609,800 b/d (2.53mn t) in August, largely because of field maintenance. Gazpromneft significantly reduced shipments of Arctic crude through the Umba floating storage tanker in Kola bay, near the far north Barents Sea port of Murmansk, after halting supplies of Arco grade from the offshore 506mn bl Prirazlomnoye field in August. Prirazlomnoye production was shut-in as maintenance on the field’s platform began in July. Production and exports are expected to resume next month.
