Baltic product loadings keep falling

Product loadings at Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian terminals of 30.6mn t last year, were down by 21.6pc from 2015. Most Estonian and Latvian terminals registered a drop in throughputs. But Lithuanian outlets managed to increase loadings because they are much less dependent on rail supplies from Russia. Lithuania’s Klaipedos Nafta and Kroviniu Terminalas outlets mainly load products from Belarus and Lithuania.
