Rail crude exports rising

Rail shipments of crude for export from Russia rose by almost 8pc against August to 59,400 b/d (244,000t) in September — the highest since May 2019. The increase was driven mainly by an 8.5pc boost to Rosneft rail deliveries of light crude to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium system (CPC), although medium- sized producer Neftisa — a part of private-sector Safmar group — raised supply to Belarus’ 323,000 b/d Mozyr refnery by 7pc in September (see table).
