State-owned Lithuanian Railways’ freight division, LG Cargo, has reduced tarifs for shipments of Russian fuel oil across Lithuania to attract supplies to the Baltic port of Klaipeda. No Russian fuel oil has been delivered to Klaipeda so far this year as state-owned Russian Railways has not approved any shipments. The tarif reduction applies to Klaipeda-bound fuel oil transported through the Stasilos and Kyana stations on Lithuania’s border with Belarus, and Rokis- kis station on the Latvian border. A 65pc discount applies to tankcars owned or leased by the shippers and a 61pc discount when LG Cargo tankcars are deployed.
