Saudi Arabia's exports of reinforcing steel rose in 2018 after the decision to allow Saudi iron factories last year to export part of their surplus steel production, which enabled local exporters to export to foreign markets, one of the largest exporters of reinforcing steel to Saudi Arabia such as China.
