Petrobras to idle nitrogen unit in Parana state

Brazilian state-controlled oil company Petrobras will idle a 630,000t/yr nitrogen unit in Parana state after failing to sell it for two years. The Araucaria Nitrogenados unit has consistently reported losses since its acquisition in 2013, highlighting its unsustain- ability, Petrobras said.
