TransCanada secures Keystone XL commitments

TransCanada has secured commercial support for all available capacity on its long-delayed 830,000 b/d Keystone XL crude pipeline and has started some pre-construction activities. The company has also obtained negotiated easements for 80pc of the route in Nebraska as it moves forward on the pipe- line despite pending legal and regulatory challenges.
