Software developed at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA, could shorten the design cycle for composite materials and structures, and analyse models too complex for existing methods. Called SwiftComp, the software has been launched by AnalySwift LLC of North Logan, Utah, USA. The company has licensed the technology, which has been developed by Wenbin Yu, Associate Professor at Purdue's School of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
