Castleman's disease is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder, alternatively referred to as giant lymph node hyperplasia or angiofollicular lymph node hyperplasia. It's histopathologically classified into 2 types: Hyaline-Vascular type and Plasma cell type. The hyaline-vascular cases usually are asymptomatic and unicentric, whereas the less common plasma cell type may present with multicentric and systemic symptoms, sometimes related to HIV or HHV-8 infection. We report a 40-year-old man who has unicentric plasma cell type Castleman' s disease incidentally found by F-18 FDG PET/CT with mild-to-moderate metabolism.
