Sasol gives up on Mozambique offshore gas

Sasol is handing back its acreage off Mozambique containing an uncommercial gas find. Back in 2008 the company was extremely positive after a gas find with the Njika well in Blocks 16/19 towards the previously less successful south of the country and it drilled an appraisal well a year after. At the time the company said that: "Two exploration wells were successfully drilled in the period October 2008 to January 2009.
