Chevron has become the final major to return to deepwater investment off Angola and is looking to restart drilling to revive production on Block 14. The other majors have been more open to reinvesting in Angola following fiscal and regulatory changes but Chevron has been more reticent than most as it is considering its future in the country outside its core Angola LNG project.
