Senegal opens round next week

Senegal will officially open its 12 block licensing round at the end of next week in Dakar. A dozen offshore blocks are on offer including those disputed by PetroNor (formerly African Petroleum) and Elenilto. Acreage relinquished by BP and Kosmos from their successful blocks is also included along with several newly drawn ultra-deepwater blocks.
