Shell advances Tanzania LNG and reveals new details

Shell has for the first time revealed new details of its planned LNG project in Tanzania and*said4t wilJ' oontinue to invest in the sector despite potential ovij^'supply. The company, which is alio involved in the new train at Nigeria LNG, has put Tanzania on its list of projects in the 'Assess/Select' phase for the first time since it took it over with the purchase of BG in 2015. Blocks 1 and 4 hold 16 Tcf of recoverable gas but progress has been extremely limited, largely due to government lethargy.
