Perenco adds in Gabon as Total retreats

Total has sold its remaining interests in seven mature offshore fields in Gabon to Perenco for up to US $350m. The private French firm had already bought operatorship and stakes in the fields in another $350m deal with Total in early 2017. It has now bought the remaining stakes in the Grondin, Genelle, Barbier, Mandaros, Gireile, Pageau and Hylia fields along with the Cap Lopez oil terminal.
