VAALCO to start Gabon drilling after extension approved

VAALCO Energy is to relaunch drilling off Gabon next year after receiving an extension to its Etame acreage which commits it to four wells. The US independent has delayed new drilling on the acreage, partly due to financial constraints and partly due to the fact the licence expires in 2021.
