S Africa minnows return to deep Orange Basin hunt

A pair of South African minnows have taken blocks off the west coast surrounded by acreage where deepwater exploration was expected to take off a decade ago. Sezigyn is undertaking an environmental impact assessment over the deepwater Mid Orange Basin block. The company will reinterpret existing 2D seismic and plan the location for a 3D shoot. The block borders Namibia to the north and acreage held by Impact to the south.
