Borr Drilling's relentless expansion in the jack-up market continued with this morning's announcement of the acquisition of Paragon Offshore for US $232.5m. Paragon has a 32 rig fleet including 31 jack-ups and one semisub. However, 21 of these older jack-ups are stacked and Borr says the majority of these will not be offered for future work.
