Total will drill a deepwater wildcat off Kenya next year as the French company confirms its status as the continent's most frontier friendly explorer.The company will drill on Block 11B,likely in the second half of the year,in what will be the first drilling off the country in six years.In more exploration friendly times,Kenya was once seen as a potential upstream hotspot as firms wanted to try and push success off Mozambique and Tanzania off East Africa further north.The last licensing round-in 2012-was a hit with many of the world's largest operators taking part.
