Chevron is gearing up to invite interest for decommissioning off Angola. Major decommissioning work has until now been relatively rare off West Africa although there have been a few stand-outs such as Petronas' Chinguetti project off Mauritania. The workload has traditionally been focused on the Gulf of Mexico and North Sea but is now spreading to other regions.
