AAOG goes phased for Congo B project

Anglo African Oil & Gas(AAOG)has decided on a phased development following its new drilling in Congo Brazzaville while also trying to negotiate on overdue payments for the government's share of costs.The UK minnow recently completed drilling at its Tilapia field and uncovered extra reserves in the existing R2 and Men-go reservoirs but also in the new Djeno reservoir.AOOG has decided to bring the first two into production at 1,500 b/d following a double completion including a one-off frack of the Mengo.This will bring in around US $lm per month with first oil in April and reduce the break-even oil price to below $20.
