BP has now told contractors that it will start tendering on its greenfield leased FPSO PAJ project off Angola in September.Block 31 PAJ is a reworking of the old Block 31 Southeast which was to take crude in from the Palas,Astraea and Juno finds into a 125,000 b/d leased FPSO.The company has a host of fields in Blocks 18 and 31 that were supposed to be developed by a series of up to five leased FPSO projects but only two were sanctioned with the firm struggling to make the others work commercially.Earlier this year BP highlighted Block 31 PAJ as one of less than 30 possible projects globally that could be producing by 2025.
