Advanced data processing and analyt-ical applications uncover trends,data patterns and relationships to improve Operations,lower Service costs and re-duce downtime.Problems that once re-quired experts to travel to site can now be resolved remotely via collaboration Operation centers.Condition monitor-ing,machine learning,and data analyt-ics enable a small team of experts to ef-fectively monitor and optimize a large installed base of equipment.Collaborative Operation is a way of oper-ating that allows both supplier and papermaker personnel to operate on the same information and communication backbone in order to deliver trouble-shooting,technical support,condition monitoring,Performance monitoring,optimization,advanced analytics and predictive maintenance in a seamless and fast manner that improves plant availability,production throughput,product quality and cost efficiency(Fig.1).
