West Africa/ Yanfolila expected to grow

AIM-listed Hummingbird Resources has announced its first drilling results from the 2018 exploration programme. At the same time, the company has approved the construction of a second ball mill at the Yanfolila gold mine in Mali. Hummingbird expects Yanfolila’s reserves to grow over its mine life and a second mill will allow the plant to increase its throughput capacity. The drilling is predominantly targeting the conversion of resources to reserves, as well as some new reserves not previously defined as resources, with the aim of extending the mine life of Yanfolila.
