B&G Crane Service used a 300t Hydra-Slide HT300 heavy-track hydraulic skidding system and other equipment to remove and replace two heat exchanger units for a project in Calcasieu, Louisiana. The company mobilised cranes and skates for the removal of an additional three units. The HT300 was used to slide two old exchangers, weighing 22.2t and 26.7t, a distance of 18.2m before repeating the process in reverse with the replacement units that weighed 26.3t and 29.9t.
