K-REACH Redesigned

This past March, South Korea finally passed long-awaited amendments to K-REACH. The process was neither easy nor quick. Fraught with rekindled philosophical divides that plagued the adoption of the original K-REACH legislation, the regulators and Legislature finally managed an agreement, and in so doing took us back to the intended future — a regulatory system more in line with European REACH-effective Jan. 1, 2019.
