What is UEIL's Industry Statistics Committee Up To?

The newly created Industry Statistics Committee (UISC) of die Union of die European Lubricants Industry (UEIL) has had a very productive first year of operation, delivering on the promise of publishing country-specific European lubricant market figures for the most recent full calendar year in the consecutive year. The report was released at the UEIL Annual Congress in Bologna, Italy, at the end of October 2017. The first of what will become annual reports on lubricant demand in the European Union (EU) covered 18 European countries and the 10 years from 2006-2016. Of those 18 countries, 16 are EU member nations that together account for more than 80 percent of demand across the 28-nation bloc. The report also contains market data for Turkey and Switzerland, which are members of the UEIL but not the EU.
