摘要

Application of heterogeneous catalyst is very vast but this technique is yet to be not used for treatment of Textile effluent on large scale. Degradation of water soluble organic pollutants present in textile effluent and removal of foul odor of Textile effluent is challenging for scientificcommunity. The photocatalytic degradation of water soluble organic pollutants by ZnO specially hazardous pollutants like dyes and many other water soluble organic pollutants etc. we also observed the influence of different operating parameters like light intensity, temperature, amount of thecatalyst, pH of the solution, amount of Pollutants, Sunlight intensity. It has been observed that this catalyst if fully capable to remove all water soluble organic pollutants and foul odor by Sunlight-Catalytic action in a single phase treatment. We can use same catalyst again and again andit works well every time as work in first time. This technology will prove sustainable and more economical because technology is based on of renewable source of energy i.e., Sunlight and we can use same catalyst again and again.
