摘要

Dizziness is a range of sensations, such as feeling faint, woozy, or unsteady. Otolithiasis is a typical dizziness related with a vestibular organ and it causes a functional disorder of physical balance and kinesthetic sense. Relapse rate of Otolithiasis is over 50% and existing physicaltherapy and rehabilitation is a long and costly process. The limitations of physical rehabilitation such as fear or falling or inaccurate rehabilitation movement pose prolonged condition. In this paper, the proposed virtual reality based rehabilitation training system for Otolithiasis patientsalleviates the limitation of physical rehabilitation of dizziness. HMD (Head Mounted Display) provides the virtual reality rehabilitation environment, can provide the accurate rehabilitation guidance for patients, and can keep track of patients postural feedback.
